What is Hospital Dentistry?

Specialized treatment for special needs individuals within a hospital based setting, who cannot have their dental needs met in a traditional office environment.

(Note: This service is available at our Papillion, NE location only.)

Adult special needs patients may present a more unique set of dental issues such as widespread dental caries, advanced periodontal disease, and fractured teeth that may require oral surgery. In addition to being treated in a hospital setting with general anesthesia due to a complex medical history, we also partner with other providers within the Boystown Hospital network. Providers such as Ears Nose & Throat physicians are able to offer additional exams within the operating room. We feel that this is an under served portion of our dental population. Dr. Ryan Morrison, at our Papillion, NE location, offers comprehensive dental treatment for the special needs patient in a hospital setting.
