It is with a mixture of gratitude and heartfelt reflection that we announce the retirement of Dr. Nick Shawd, who will step away from his role at Neighborhood Dental at the end of December 2024. After 20 incredible years of dedicated service to the Tea community, Dr. Shawd has decided to embark on a well-deserved new chapter in life.
Dr. Shawd’s career has been a testament to compassion, excellence, and unwavering commitment to his patients. From the moment he first welcomed patients to his chair, his goal was to provide more than just dental care—he sought to build trust, foster connections, and support generations of families in achieving healthier, brighter smiles.
“For over two decades, I have had the privilege of walking into the office each day, eager to provide care and humbled by the trust you have placed in me, shares Dr. Shawd. The relationships we have built and the milestones I have witnessed—watching children grow, then bringing their own children in for care—have been the most significant rewards of my career.”
Though Dr. Shawd will be dearly missed, his legacy will remain a guiding light at Neighborhood Dental in Tea. His colleagues, including Dr. Adam Fjeldheim and Dr. Kyla Boyd, are dedicated to upholding the high standard of care and patient-first approach that Dr. Shawd exemplified. Over the years, their collaborative efforts have ensured that every patient feels valued, cared for, and confident in the quality of their dental health journey.
