Customer Service & Scheduling Specialist - Tea

Neighborhood Dental is looking for you! We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, and customer oriented person with a great attitude to work in our professional office. The right candidate must have exceptional customer service skills and be proficient with a multi-line phone system. The person we are looking for needs to be a team player who is self-motivated, hardworking and can multi task.



  • Providing excellent customer service to patients
  • Practicing HIPAA and maintaining compliance
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Check office voicemails and emails
  • Confirm appointments
  • Schedule appointments
  • Actively monitoring schedule to ensure providers meet daily goals
  • Assist patients in scheduling with specialists if needed
  • Verify Patients dental insurance benefits
  • Update patient records when checking in patients by ensuring phone, address, and insurance are current
  • Scanning patients DL, insurance card(s), and paperwork
  • Check and respond to appointment requests via “Conversations” on Solution Reach and Social Media
  • Verifying pre-medications
  • Collect at the time of service and some payment entering

Ideal candidates will have the following experience, but all strong candidates will be considered:

  • 1 year minimum dental front office experience
  • Computer proficiency – specifically Microsoft suite and Google Drive
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Dentrix software knowledge experience preferred but strong candidates will be considered


  • dental: 1 year (Preferred)
  • customer service in a health related feild: 1 year (Preferred)


  • High school or equivalent (Required)
