Dr. Blake Ridgway

Dr. Blake Ridgway grew up in West Des Moines, IA, and earned his B.A. in biology (honors) from Augustana University before completing his DDS at Creighton University School of Dentistry. In 2025, the South Dakota Dental Association (SDDA) named him “Young Dentist of the Year,” recognizing his service to both his profession and the community at the SDDA’s 141st annual meeting in Rapid City.
- Professional leadership: Former president of the Southeastern District Dental Society, past trustee of the SDDA, and current wellness ambassador for the American Dental Association.
- Clinical passion: Combines a love of health sciences with precise, hands‑on artistry to give every patient a healthier, more confident smile.
- Community focus: Volunteers regularly at local outreach events and mentors pre‑dental students.
Outside the operatory, Dr. Ridgway enjoys the outdoors, distance running, biking, and traveling with his wife, Lauren, and their two children. He’s also an avid reader of non‑fiction to keep his worldview broad and curious.”

Dr. Jace Hanisch
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Jace Hanisch spent years painting houses, where he learned the value of steady hands, patience, attention to detail, and taking pride in excellent work. Dentistry gave him a way to combine that hands-on precision with his love for helping people feel comfortable and cared for.
Dr. Hanisch is especially passionate about helping patients who need urgent or surgical care, including:
- Dental emergencies
- Dental implants
- Wisdom tooth removal
- Surgical procedures with IV sedation
He finds it rewarding to help patients get relief quickly, especially when they arrive in pain, feeling unsure, or nervous about treatment. To make surgical care more comfortable, he earned his IV sedation license, giving anxious patients a calmer, more relaxed experience.
Patients appreciate Dr. Hanisch’s approachable, down-to-earth style. He takes time to listen, explain each step, and recommend care that is truly in the patient’s best interest. His work is guided by hard work, integrity, service, and a strong sense of community.
Dr. Hanisch continues to advance his skills through hands-on education in surgery, implants, and IV sedation. He also uses modern dental technology, including advanced scanners, to make care more efficient and effective. Outside the office, he proudly serves as a dentist in the South Dakota Army National Guard.

Dr. Sara Van Demark
We offer professional and friendly services to patients of all ages.
Dr. Sara Van Demark graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and then went on to graduate from Creighton University School of Dentistry.
After graduation, she lived in Rochester, MN and worked in public health providing dental care to underserved populations for four years.
As a Sioux Falls native, Dr. Van Demark is excited to be back in her hometown with her husband and two small children.
She looks forward to being a part of the Sioux Falls community and providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages.
