Dr. Nick Shawd
Dr. Nick Shawd was born and raised in Mitchell, SD. After high school, he attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He attended the UNMC College of Dentistry and earned his DDS in 2004. He is married to Kara and they have a son, Carter, and a daughter, Lily.
Nick has been practicing at the Tea location since 2004. He enjoys being a general dentist as it allows him to treat all ages of patients and provide many different types of treatment. He is very thankful to all the patients he has had the pleasure of treating in the Tea and surrounding area since 2004!
In his spare time, Nick enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family.

Dr. Kyla Boyd

Dr. Kyla Boyd grew up in Bismarck, ND, and went to the University of North Dakota where she earned a degree in Biology.
She then went to dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where she met her husband who is also a dentist at Neighborhood Dental. Together, they have two kids, Cooper and Collins, and a yellow lab named Wrigley.
Dr. Boyd grew up in a healthcare family, so was inspired to follow her relatives into the field. She knew she wanted to work with people and help them. Because dentistry has an element of artistry, she knew it was the right fit for her.
As our caring dentist, she loves being able to impact people’s lives and help them gain a new confidence.
Outside of the office, Dr. Boyd is a Chicago Cubs fan and loves to play with her kids, travel, and cook.

Dr. Adam Fjeldheim
Dr. Adam Fjeldheim was born in Watertown, SD and went to college at South Dakota State University where he majored in Biology.
He then attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Dr. Adam always looks forward to building meaningful relationships with his patients. He uses the latest dental techniques and modern technology to ensure your family gets the best possible care. There really is no visit like a visit to Dr. Adam.
In his free time, he enjoys watching all Minnesota professional sports teams, exercising, spending time outdoors, and making memories with his family
